Pomo Zentra
About Pomo Zentra

We got tired of confusing busy with done.

Pomo Zentra is a small team building one focused tool: a Pomodoro timer that scores what your hours actually produced. We think the most honest productivity metric isn't time at the desk — it's output that moved the business.

Why we exist

The timer was lying to us.

Pomo Zentra started with a frustrating week. Our founder, running a one-person consultancy, finished five days that felt packed — every hour blocked, every Pomodoro completed — and still watched the pipeline go quiet. The timer said the week was great. The bank account disagreed.

The problem wasn't discipline. It was measurement. A plain Pomodoro timer rewards presence: eight tomatoes is eight tomatoes, whether you closed a deal or reorganised a folder. For founders, that's a dangerous thing to optimise for.

So we kept the part of Pomodoro that works — short, finite, interruption-free sprints — and added the one thing it was missing: a record of what each block produced. Tag the work, log the output, and let the day roll up into one honest score that can't be gamed by looking busy.

The fix wasn't more hours. It was a number that told the truth about the ones we had.

What we believe

Four principles that keep the product honest.

01

Output over hours

The only metric we'll ever optimise for is the work that moved your business — not time logged or streaks kept.

02

Honest by default

Waste gets logged too, and it costs you. A score that flatters you is worse than no score at all.

03

Your data is yours

One-click export, one-click delete, zero ad trackers. We're the custodian of your work record, never the owner.

04

Small on purpose

We build one tool well rather than ten things badly. Every feature has to earn its place in your day.

How we got here

A short, deliberate path.

We've grown slowly and stayed independent — funded by people who pay for Pro, not by selling attention.

2024

A weekend prototype

The first version was a flip-clock timer with a single text box: "what did that 25 minutes make?" It was ugly and it changed how we worked within a week.

2025

The scoring system

Six categories, weighted toward revenue, with waste counted honestly. The daily score turned a private habit into something we could actually share.

2026

12,000 founders later

The rotation planner, trends and exports landed for Pro. Still six of us, still no ad trackers, still chasing the same one number.
