Acceptable use policy.

What PomoZentra may and may not be used for. Short, because the product is narrow and most of the things a long policy would forbid are not possible here. Last updated August 1, 2026.

Plain summary

Use it to plan and log your own focused work. Do not attack it, do not try to reach anyone else's data, and do not resell access. That is essentially the whole policy.

Scope

This policy applies to pomozentra.com, app.pomozentra.com and anything else we operate under the PomoZentra name. It forms part of the terms of use, and the definitions there apply here too.

What the product is for

PomoZentra is a personal tool. It is intended for planning your own week by work area, running focus blocks, logging what you did against that plan, and reviewing the result. Using it for your own work, for a business you run, or for study is all fine.

What is not allowed

Attempting to reach data that is not yours

Do not try to access another account's workspace, guess or brute-force identifiers, tamper with authentication, or exploit a flaw to read data belonging to someone else. If you find a way to do any of this, that is a vulnerability and we would genuinely like to hear about it. See the security page for how to report it.

Interfering with the service

Do not run automated load against the service, scrape it at volume, attempt denial of service, or otherwise degrade it for other people. Ordinary use from a browser is fine; a script hammering endpoints is not.

Circumventing limits or access controls

Do not bypass the access gate, reverse engineer the application to defeat a control, or attempt to use paid-only functionality without paying for it should paid functionality ever exist.

Illegal use

Do not use PomoZentra to plan, coordinate, record or conceal activity that is unlawful where you are.

Uploading harmful material

The product accepts very little from you: task titles, notes, and optional voice, screen recordings or screenshots attached to feedback. Do not use any of these to send malware, or to upload material you have no right to share. Do not attach recordings containing another person's personal information without their agreement.

Misusing the feedback and contact channels

The in-app feedback button and our inbox go to real people. Do not use them for spam, marketing, abuse or threats.

Reselling or misrepresenting the service

Do not resell access, present PomoZentra as your own product, or imply a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.

Things this policy deliberately does not cover

Many acceptable-use policies list rules for public content, community moderation, API rate limits and shared workspaces. PomoZentra has none of those: there is no public content, no social layer, no sharing between accounts and no public API. Copying those clauses in would make this document look more serious and mean less. If any of that changes, this page changes with it.

If something goes wrong

Where we believe this policy has been broken, our response is proportionate to what happened. In most cases that means getting in touch and asking about it, because the likeliest explanation for unusual activity is a misunderstanding or a bug rather than an attack. For serious or repeated cases, or anything that puts other users at risk, we may suspend or terminate access, and we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

If we suspend your access we will tell you why, and you can still request an export of your data.

Reporting misuse

If you believe someone is misusing PomoZentra, or you have received something abusive that appears to come from us, email [email protected].

Changes

We will update this policy when the product gains capabilities that need new rules. Material changes will be noted on the changelog and the date at the top of this page will change.
